Our Mission

To bring new works of fiction and art to light.
To give people a chance to realize their dreams.

That’s what we’re all about. We want to make it possible for you to realize your dream of having a book published. We want to help remove the roadblocks between you and getting your book published. We want to make the process feel easier and less overwhelming. We’re here to do it differently.

Traditional Publishing Takes Too Long

The publishing process with a traditional publishing house typically takes anywhere from 12 to 24 months. Yes, that’s 1 to 2 years from the time when you submit your manuscript before it is available for sale to your readers.

In today’s fast-paced, short-attention-span world, that’s just too long. Being writers ourselves, we understand how difficult it is to maintain your enthusiasm for a project for that long, wanting to get onto the next one.

Our goal is to have your book available for sale within two months from the time when you send us your final manuscript.

We don’t take shortcuts to do this. Instead, we work with you in advance to help plan everything that needs to be done in order to successfully launch your book.

Publishing as a Partnership

Almost all writers also have day jobs. We understand this. We also understand that not everyone has all of the skills necessary to fully drive a book from creation to successful publication.

We work as a collaborative team. Not just our staff, but our authors also provide whatever services they can to help promote and drive the sales of each other’s books. This way, we can keep our costs down, which means that you can make more from the sale of each book.

Writing is an Art, Publishing is a Business

Let’s be honest about one thing: We’re here to make money. All of us. You as the author, and the people who work for us here. None of us are willing to—or should have to—provide their work for free. We’ve found that nearly every author who expressed the opinion that they weren’t “in it for the money” did so because they lacked the confidence to believe that they could earn money doing what they love.

Another truth: Unless you’re a best-selling author, most writers do not make most of their money solely from the sales of their books. They make it from writing-related activities, such as book signings, personal appearances, and speaking engagements. It works out to be a nice complimentary circle: you publish a book, which can then lead to personal appearances that can help you sell more books, which leads to more personal appearances . . .

You Deserve a Promotion

The single most important factor in book sales, after the excellence of the story, is the promotional activity around the work. We’ve seen really amazing stories languish because someone was asleep at the wheel where promotions were concerned. We also understand, from having talked with authors of books in all sorts of genres, that you can never have too much promotion, or too creative a promotion strategy. Should you choose to work with us, expect to spend a large chunk of your time brainstorming with us to promote your work, and helping us support other authors in promoting theirs.
